Religious Affairs Committee (in setup stage)
The Religious Affairs Committee focuses on overseeing the religious activities within the center, ensuring that prayers, Islamic education, and community programs align with Islamic values.
Key Roles:
- Organizing daily prayers, Jumu’ah, and special prayers like Eid and Taraweeh.
- Coordinating guest speakers, religious lectures, and seminars.
- Managing religious education programs, including Quranic studies and Islamic teachings.
Youth Development Committee
This committee is committed to the intellectual and spiritual development of our youth and community members. It focuses on education, Quranic teaching, and youth programs.
Key Roles:
- Organizing and overseeing Quran classes and Islamic studies for all age groups.
- Planning youth leadership training, workshops, and mentorship programs.
- Creating safe and inclusive spaces for youth to engage in spiritual, social, and personal growth.
Zakat & Charity Committee
The Zakat & Charity Committee ensures that charitable funds are distributed effectively to those in need, supporting both short-term and long-term assistance programs.
Key Roles:
- Collecting and distributing Zakat and charity donations to local and international causes.
- Identifying families or individuals in need and ensuring proper assistance.
- Running regular charity drives and outreach programs to support marginalized groups.
Community Engagement & Events Committee
This committee is responsible for planning and coordinating community events that bring members together for celebrations, social events, and community-building activities.
Key Roles:
- Organizing seasonal events like Ramadan iftar, Eid celebrations, and community potlucks.
- Coordinating educational events, seminars, and conferences that benefit the entire community.
- Fostering social interaction through casual meetups and recreational activities.
Facilities & Maintenance Committee (In Setup Stage)
This committee handles the upkeep and maintenance of the mosque and center, ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting space for worship and community activities.
Key Roles:
- Regular cleaning, maintenance, and repairs to the building and grounds.
- Managing facility bookings for events, meetings, and other programs.
- Ensuring that safety standards are maintained within the premises.
Fundraising & Development Committee (In Setup Stage)
The Fundraising & Development Committee focuses on securing financial support for the center’s growth, sustainability, and community projects.
Key Roles:
- Planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events, such as charity auctions and online donation drives.
- Developing partnerships with local businesses and donors to secure ongoing funding.
- Managing the center’s endowment and finding creative ways to generate income for the center’s future.
